ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Paige—A 25-year-old wedding photographer and filmmaker based in the mitten and a proud Grand Valley State University alum. I’m a creative at heart with a deep love for dogs, travel, Jesus, and long, sunny days spent by the lake.
My love for storytelling started early—long before I knew it could become a career. Growing up, I was always the one with a camera in hand, convincing my friends to star in photoshoots or directing them in homemade cooking shows that I edited in iMovie (and proudly burned onto CDs that I still have today). What started as childhood creativity eventually grew into a calling. At GVSU (go Lakers!), I pursued a degree in Film & Video Production and Photography, where I fell in love with documentary-style storytelling and the art of capturing authentic, unscripted moments.
That passion naturally led me to weddings; a space filled with genuine emotion, meaningful connection, and once-in-a-lifetime memories. I believe marriage is one of life’s greatest gifts, and it’s an honor to document the beginning of such a sacred and joy-filled chapter. My approach is rooted in documenting your day as it truly unfolds. From the quiet, in-between moments to the joyful, celebratory highlights, I strive to preserve your story in a way that feels honest, timeless, and deeply personal. But on the flip side…I’m basically your professional third wheel and full-time hype girl! I get just as excited about your wedding day as the people sitting in the front row (sometimes maybe even more, I can’t help it, I just love love)! I’ll be cheering you on, fixing your veil, fluffing your dress, keeping you on schedule, and celebrating every little moment with you. When you feel relaxed, confident, and fully celebrated, that’s when the real magic happens—and I’m there for it all!
After years of balancing photography and videography as a side hustle, I officially launched Paige Metcalf Creative in January ‘24. Since then, this business has grown into something beyond what I imagined. I’m incredibly grateful for the doors God has opened and the people He’s placed in my path along the way. I’ve found an amazing community of fellow creatives who continually inspire, challenge, and encourage me, and the couples I serve are the heart behind everything I create. More than anything, I believe the best photos and films come from genuine connection. I want you to feel comfortable, celebrated, and fully present on your wedding day. My goal is not just to document your memories, but to create an experience that is joyful, relaxed, and meaningful from start to finish.
